It's always interesting reading the biographies of celebrities. This one however really hit home for me. The insight brought by this book wasn't just into Patrick and Lisa's lives... but into my own soul. They have a way of writing that just burrows in and stays. It's crazy to know Patrick never thought he reached those goals in his career that he really did. How impactful his movies were. City of Joy is one of my favorite movies to this day and I saw it when I was 8 or 9. It's impact stayed with me all my life to really care for those less fortunate than myself and to be aware of the world around you. It taught me at that young age to be greatful for the things I had even in the times that it was just a tent and a sleeping bag. Thank you Lisa, and Patrick, for an amazing insight to your lives!
